We are very proud to present our epic custom Aurora Silky Skies!

Two and a half years ago Sarah and Christina helped me create my two dream wraps Aurora Caeruleus and Aurora Purpureus. I was overwhelmed by the response they got (and still are getting) especially Caeruleus.

Purpureus and Caeruleus were both quad blends. Many recent customs have been new versions of silk blends and I have just fallen in love with the softness and shine of these. I got this idea in my head of Caeruleus, but as a triblend… I reached out to Sarah and Christina with the vision of an Aurora Caeruleus 2.0, shiny and silky soft with even brighter and more vibrant colours than the original. They thought it was a great idea and with their amazing help Aurora Silky Skies was born!

Aurora Silky Skies is a triblend with 66% Egyptian cotton 17% Ethically sourced Merino  17% Mulberry Silk. Because similar blends had some issues of being very prone to pulls, HQ had an idea of mixing the cotton and merino of the background in order to make the weave a bit tighter/secure. This technique is brand new but it does seem to help prevent pulls!

The shine of this wrap is just out of this world. When I first saw Aurora Caeruleus I couldn’t dream of a more beautiful wrap, but Silky Skies is really giving her older sister a run for her money!
I would like to thank Sarah and Christina from the bottom of my heart for making my dreams come true once again!! Of course, none of this would have been possible without the other mamas in the custom, I would also like to say thank you for trusting me. I hope you’re all as in love with Silky Skies as I am!
