Cliff notes: a slight to medium amount of stretch and bounce, lightweight and good for warmer weather, moldable, squish and toddler friendly, nice support, easy on the shoulders, very slight texture that doesn’t add to grippiness/more of a smooth or slick feel (like pavo unicornio)

Skip it if you are looking for: thick, beastly, grippy, lots of texture, snuggly, super thin, lots of width

When this tester arrived I was just beginning to make my way out of a first trimester fog of nausea, fatigue, and near complete loss of wrapping skills. I’ll go ahead and get it out the way now to say that natty combed cotton geo did not disappoint as I transitioned back into a more familiar wearing routine. Living in Puerto Rico for the last few months has changed my perspective about warm weather friendly wraps entirely and I was thankful that natty geo was lightweight and thin enough for multilayer carries without sending us into a heat stroke. The slight to medium amount of stretch was helpful without being overwhelming and was coupled with a nice light bounce. As I was getting back into the swing of things I appreciated how surprisingly supportive it was even with less than perfect double hammocks; I needed to be a bit more careful with a ruck but as long as I got it high and tight my shoulders were happy (truthfully at this point I have to execute rucks with more precision in general so I didn’t find natty geo to be particularly fiddly). FWCC is our go to sleepy time carry and this combed cotton passed with flying colors; very easy to wrap with, shoulder friendly for long stretches of swaying without needing to readjust, and my average height toddler fit arms in with ease. Slipknots also proved to hold well and rest comfortably against my body.

Natty CC geo was genuinely exactly what I wanted and all that I needed, I even found my self secretly comparing it to one of my all time favorite nattys (I’ll keep my lips sealed on which one but I anticipate that once it’s in the hands of the general public I’ll see others comparing the two also). I know people often say that they wanted to hijack the tester and go into hiding but I can honestly say I was prepared to go underground for a while if only I could figure out a way to get the WW ladies off my trail :P All in all, I think this wrap is a really nice bridge between those who enjoy thinner wraps and those who enjoy the support and stretch of some of the wraps that we have been seeing in the more heavy medium+ range. If you’ve been curious about Woven Wings but not quite sold this will be a great gateway release to try for!
