This wrap intrigued me from the moment I saw pictures, and I was so anxious to try it out. When it landed, I was immediately taken aback by how incredibly soft it is. Medium weight in hand, it is like a blanket you want to cuddle with on the couch on a rainy afternoon with a cup of chai. The first carry we tried was a double hammock and it shined. It glided easily as I carefully tightened it into place. It felt sturdy, and weightless, with a slight, “just enough" feeling of cush on the shoulders. After a short walk in the neighborhood in a double hammock, it held up nicely, keeping my little guy nice and high.
Throughout its week long stay, it was the only wrap we grabbed for. From the “go with everything” color, this wrap could easily be an everyday wrap with jeans and a tee, but I think it would shine if dressed up a touch as well. It is so classic and the pattern while simple, also has a geometric design to the tiles. Its a design, within a design. If I am being completely honest, this wrap might just be my favorite wrap to ever pass through here. It is beautiful in hand, but even more stunning once wrapped.
The rest of the week, we mostly relied on our trusty FWCC when out and about, and it literally molded around me as I wrapped. It was like we had known each other our whole lives and it just knew where to go next. I imagine this wrap going on lots of adventures from picnics to ballgames, to sitting around campfires roasting smores. It ticks off almost every single box for me when it comes to wrap qualities. It is moldable, breathable, glides nice, non-fussy, strong and sturdy, yet soft and cuddly. The only thing it doesn't do is “lock” into place, but because it is so easy to get a tight wrap job, I can overlook that.
Navy Tiles completes me, and I miss it dearly. I will absolutely be trying for this beauty because Tiles and I? Well, we belong together.
