Start with the facts....
* I have an almost 3 year old who weighs 29lbs (13.2kg)
* My base size is a 6 or 7, my most used carry's ~ DH TAS, FWCC, RUCK TT
* I have had every one of the triangles / fairies here in various sizes! ( wow just realized that!)

I gave the triangles a whirl in all my favorite carry's!

In the DH TAS ~ It was Easy to slide the passes, my chest pass glided into place with snug cozy, precision, and easy to tie and adjust the slip knot. The knot wasn't diggy on my chest (that can be an issue for me).

In the FWCC ~ We use this carry for milk / sleeping snuggles, it's a soft wrap, but not quite as soft as the higher content Woolies like Paddington ( that's a perma wrap here!) It was plenty comfy and cozy for my son to doze off, I was in no hurry to get him down even with his large size on my front, I used a single knot in the back for this carry and it held well.

RUCK TT ~ this carry can be tricky with a heavier or larger child, I consider my sons weight to be substantial, and in a ruck can be taxing on the shoulders, I didn't wear him long in the RUCK TT ~ it was a short ish ~ about 20 min up when it arrived because of excitement and a less than patient toddler. It was without a doubt more comfy than a cotton fairy, I wasn't feeling any strain on my traps (trapezius muscles)

I would say this wrap is right in between a wool geo and an all cotton aq, (weight and feel), it is dense and on the heavy side without having an overly thick feeling, The weight might scare you if you like thin wraps, it' floppier than AQ, but not as much as a wool geo, it is not at all hot, bulky or beastly, lays nicely on the shoulders, is super easy to wrap with (unlike how some heavy wraps you may have tried)! It is supportive yet soft enough for a small baby! You can easily wear a newborn or toddler. You can absolutely wear it year round!

This wrap will not appeal to you if you like thin wraps, a wrap that is stiff like a new linen, or if you are looking for a super warm woolie. Although it's a low content Merino, the small percentage makes a noticeable difference in cush, and comfort compared to the all cottons. For those of you that didn't love the all cotton fairy's ~ I highly recommend you give this beauty a try!
